Know Your Enemy

American Workers: Know Your Enemy

This is a good overall description.
The United Nations wants the United States to ratify the Kyoto Global Warming Treaty, which would send American manufacturing jobs to Third World countries that have no obligations under the treaty.
Jews: Know Your Enemy
Guess which organization repeatedly condemns Israel for defending itself, while remaining silent about atrocities committed by the Palestinian Liberation Organization?
See my column on this subject.
Why the PLO are war criminals
Christians:* Know Your Enemy
If someone tried to establish a "One Nation Earth" as described in the "Left Behind" series, this is what its flag would look like. Picture of Damien Thorne (The Omen), Franco Macaluso (Left Behind), Stone Alexander (The Omega Code), or maybe billionaire international financier George Soros. (I won't get into the South Park version of the Apocalypse...) "World peace under a single ruler."
An answer to the UN's "small-arms burning day" this July
Hint: the small arms to be burned do not belong to genocidal governments or dictators.

Other uses for the UN flag:

  • Personal hygiene purposes
    • UN flag toilet paper. (Too expensive but I like the concept.)
  • Doormat
  • Tinder
* The Libertarian and Christian perceptions of absolute evil differ by only two digits: "You are Number 6" (as in, "I am not a number, I am a free man!") and "You will take the number 666." To Libertarians, the "mark of the beast" without which no one can buy or sell (e.g. a biometric implant) would be the ultimate version of "Your papers, please." Libertarians also are fundamentalists: we believe in the entire Constitution, including the part about freedom of religion. Remember, the Second Amendment helps protect the First!

Helmuth von Moltke was right

"Some have proposed to replace diplomacy with a permanent assembly of deputies chosen by different nations to adjust the various international disputes and interests and thus to prevent all future wars. ... I have more confidence in the judgment and power of governments than in the Areopagus of delegates selected by the peoples and international brotherhood or what has been proposed in this direction, which is suited only to create Babylonian confusion." (page 25, "The Nature of War") Considering the League of Nations' ineffectiveness, and the UN's (mis)handling of Bosnia and the Middle East, von Moltke was right. (Oxymoron of the day: "UN-declared safe area.")

Representation of the world's population in the United Nations

  • TheButchers of Beijing, the architects of the Tiananman Square massacre, the people who held American men and woman hostage in April 2001 (perhaps a couple of dozen decision makers): one vote
  • North Korea's Kim Jong Ii or Il: one vote
  • Syria's Assad: one vote
  • Saddam Hussein: one vote
  • Moammar Khadafi: one vote
  • Sudan, where so-called Muslims (they, like the PLO, have as much to do with Islam as the Inquisition had to do with Christianity) sell Christians into slavery: one vote
  • The will of the majority of the 270-odd million Americans of voting age: one vote
  • The will of the majority of 3-odd million Israelis of voting age: one vote
  • The will of the majority of 90-odd million Taiwanese of voting age: no vote
Kofi Annan's and United Nations' complicity in Sudanese genocide
Kofi Annan is knowingly and willfully turning a blind eye to genocide while he criticizes the United States' overthrow of Saddam Hussein and his murderous sons.

"Only yesterday the German daily, Die Welt [The World], reported that Syria, in coordination with Khartoum, used chemical weapons against civilians in Darfur. ...the Khartoum government remains a member of good standing on the U.N. Human Rights Commission. Only last May, when the atrocities in Darfur were already well known, Sudan was reappointed to the commission through 2007."
--Wall Street Journal, September 16 2004, "The U.N. Cavalry- Not."

This article also says that "Syria might have been the destination for some of Saddam Hussein's missing WMD." If so, it is quite understandable why Kofi Annan does not want this investigated. If it came to light that the "nonexistent" Iraqi WMDs are now being used to perpetrate genocide, it would show the entire world what the United Nations is really about.

China threatens to veto UN Darfur draft
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Sept 15, 2004
"China has threatened to veto a revised U.S. draft resolution that would consider U.N. sanctions against Sudan’s oil industry if Khartoum does not stop atrocities in its Darfur region, diplomats reported on Wednesday."

Kofi Annan's complicity in Rwandan genocide

"For example, there was that splendidly legitimate U.N. operation in Bosnia, where its blue-helmeted peacekeepers watched with indifference as Serbian soldiers rounded up for slaughter thousands of Muslim men in the so-called U.N. 'safe haven' of Srebrenica. Or Rwanda in 1994, where Mr. Annan-- then head of the U.N. peacekeeping force-- shrugged off panicked warning calls from the U.N. commander on the ground, thereby allowing the slaughter of 800,000." "Kofi's Law," Wall Street Journal, 9/20/04.

United Nations Complicity in Terrorism
Should Israel treat UN assets and personnel as military targets, just as the U.S. targeted the Taliban for harboring Al Qaida? As President Bush said, "You are either with us or you are with the terrorists?"

From the Wall Street Journal, January 19, 2005 (see Opinionjournal.com; you may need to be a subscriber to view the entire article online).

In 2003 and 2004, the Israel Defense Forces captured documentation showing how the U.N. Development Program was regularly funding two Hamas front organizations: the Tulkarm Charity Committee and the Jenin District Committee for Charitable Funds. The donations varied -- sometimes $4,000 and sometimes $10,000. Receipts and even copies of thank-you notes to UNDP were discovered.

United Nations-designated safe area

This is a picture of a so-called safe area in a place like Bosnia. The three people in the picture are "safe" according to the standards of the United Nations.
