MoveOn.org's stooges, Judas goats, and enablers

The following pictures underscore the Judas goat concept. Queers Undermining Israeli Terror (QUIT) and Boycott World Pride seek to boycott the controversial gay pride event which is to be held in Jerusalem. QUIT and Boycott World Pride trade on their nominally-gay identity to convince other gay people that Israel is a bad country and its militant “Islamic” neighbors are fine and dandy.

Now suppose, for example, that Nazis managed to get a few members of the Jewish community to usher other Jews into cattle cars while reassuring them that they were going to a nice recreational relocation facility even though they had seen the gas chambers and crematoria. The National Jewish Democratic Council has proven itself a Jewish Judas goat, with exactly the same ethics as a Jew who would tell other Jews to get in the cattle car.

On October 27 NJDC leader Ira Forman wrote, NJDC Reacts to the Swift Boating of MoveOn By the RJC. Forman wrote the following while accusing the Republican Jewish Coalition and, by implication ourselves (since we supplied the RJC with information about MoveOn.org) of lying.

As shown on the page, Jan Poller and ourselves provided the NJDC with proof that MoveOn.org knew of the anti-Semitic and other hate speech that permeated its Action Forum, and chose to let the hate speech stand while deleting pro-Israel commentary as well as criticism of MoveOn.org. We also sent an E-mail with this information to the Jewish Funds for Justice and National Jewish Democratic Council on October 28 (To: njdc “at” njdc.org, nynjdc “at” njdc.org, info “at” jewishjustice.org).

In summary, NJDC has MoveOn.org’s lip service to the effect that it didn’t see the hate speech until mid-August when it was promptly removed, and anyway the rest of the MoveOn.org community condemned it. (”We weren’t there and, besides, we were only following orders.” Right.) Our side has the following, all of which were made available to NJDC and Jewish Funds for Justice:

(1) Jan Poller’s letter of April 1 2004, which told MoveOn.org about the hate speech. This alone proves that MoveOn.org didn’t “just find out about it” in mid-August.
(2) Reams of hate speech that were harvested from the Action Forum two or more weeks after the MoveOn press release, thus proving that MoveOn.org lied about deleting all but a few items.
(3) The MoveOn.org Action Forum FAQ page that says in more than one place that MoveOn monitors the forum and even reads each comment (including the hate speech) twice. This again shows that MoveOn.org didn’t “just find out” about the hate speech.
(4) Votes of overwhelming approval, as opposed to condemnation, of the hate speech by other Action Forum participants.

As of today, however, neither the Jewish Funds for Justice nor the National Jewish Democratic Council has changed its position. When a followup E-mail was sent to NJDC this morning, it received the reply, ” You guys have been asked politiely before, and will be once again — please cease spamming us.”

When we last heard, “spam” was unsolicited bulk commercial E-mail as opposed to correspondence regarding NJDC’s public implication that we ourselves are lying. Nonetheless, since NJDC does not want us to communicate with it by E-mail, we will communicate with it and its Jewish constituents through this medium instead.

Last week, it could have been argued that NJDC was an innocent victim of the same misinformation that MoveOn.org fed to the public and the ADL. Repetition of lies that one swallows in good faith is not lying, but continuing to repeat the lies after one has seen independently-verifiable proof of their falsehood is. NJDC’s continued support of MoveOn.org makes NJDC an accessory after the fact (in the court of public opinion) to MoveOn.org’s reprehensible conduct and cover-up.

Mr. Forman, your organization was given every opportunity to correct its mistaken assertion that we are liars. At this point, NJDC’s conduct is no longer a mistake. The National Jewish Democratic Council is clearly a Judas goat that is using the “Jewish” in its name to help whitewash anti-Semitic hate speech every bit as vicious as that that led to the Holocaust, and anti-Catholic and racist hate speech as well. If you still wonder why George Bush won the 2004 election, a long look in the mirror might provide a good part of the answer.

We previously reported how the National Jewish Democratic Council made itself a knowing and willful accomplice after the fact to MoveOn.org’s tolerance of anti-Semitic, racist, and anti-Christian hate speech at its Action Forum. Now the NJDC is publishing the same kind of material that Nazis used to get German Christians to distrust and despise Jews.

Anyone who has read either Sun Tzu’s The Art of War or Linebarger’s Psychological Warfare will immediately recognize what is going on here, and we have read both. The mission of an agent provacateur is to stir up trouble between two or more groups of people for political gain, and this looks like the agenda of the already-disgraced National Jewish Democratic Council.

How is saying that Jews have “a visceral distrust, bordering on antipathy, for Evangelical Christians” anti-Semitic? The target of a propaganda campaign might in fact be the very people to whom the propaganda is addressed. Here is an example of this form of propaganda, straight from MoveOn.org’s disgraced Action Forum. By suggesting that African-Americans might be receptive to an invitation to desert or refuse orders (as symbolized by laying down one’s weapon), this actually implies that Blacks are potential deserters or even mutineers.

The material quoted by the National “Jewish” Democratic Council is, in fact, similar to Nazi propaganda whose purpose was to incite hatred of Jews. From “Propaganda and Children during the Hitler Years” by Mary Mills at Nizkor’s Web site,

We do not know where the ADL stands on traditional Christian values, but our understanding is that they are almost identical to traditional Jewish values. While we do not believe that Jesus was actually the son of God or that he rose from the dead, we do believe that he taught the basic value system that is the foundation of all civilized societies. The difference between Christians and others is only what they call this value system. Christians call it the Good News. Buddhists call it the Good Law or Good Way (Bodi-Dharma), Hindus call it Dharma (the Right Way), and Chinese and Japanese call it Tao and Do (The Way) respectively. Christian literature also often refers to The Way. In other words, our only difference with Christians consists of something we cannot know about until we reach what Shakespeare called the undiscovered country from whose bourn no traveler returns. If NJDC thinks it is going to stir up dissent between us and our Christian friends over metaphysics, it has seriously misjudged us. Right now, the only enemies we can identify are NJDC and MoveOn.org.

The National “Jewish” Democratic Council is obviously interested only in garnering votes for MoveOn.org/ John Kerry Democrats at all costs, including Jewish-Christian relations. That is going to stop and it is going to stop very quickly, because we will be first in line to join ranks with our Evangelical Christian friends to relegate the NJDC and its divisive hate propaganda to the ash heap of history.

The Republican Jewish Coalition has been informed of the National Jewish Democratic Council’s propagation of anti-Semitic “Jew as Christian hater” material, along with NJDC’s making itself a knowing and willful accomplice to the hate speech at MoveOn.org’s Action Forum. RJC has already used information from Jan Poller and ourselves in its newsletter to show that NJDC and not RJC is lying about the MoveOn.org issue. Similar information was just sent to the Christian Coalition to show that NJDC does not speak for Jews.

The hate speech in MoveOn.org’s Action Forum was coincidentally not limited to Jews and Catholics, but extended in some cases to Evangelical Christians. Evangelicals were, for example, criticized for supporting Israel, and this should help identify the true enemy. Here is one straight from the Action Forum, and note that nine out of eleven MoveOn.org Action Forum participants agreed with it.

Christians do not believe that they can do anything to hasten Armageddon or the Second Coming of Jesus. The above smear is in fact a blood libel of Christians, because it falsely accuses them of setting up Jews to be killed at Armageddon. We have no more use for blood libels of Christians than we have for blood libels of Jews or anyone else. It is obvious who the real enemy is, and no one here is stupid enough to let that enemy convince Jews and Evangelical Christians that it is each other.

John Kerry, insults our Armed Forces yet again

Kerry derides American soldiers as the scum of the earth, enlisted only because they are too stupid to get civilian jobs. From an Associated Press release, "The war of words, tough even for this hard-fought campaign season, came after Kerry told a group of California students on Monday that those unable to navigate the country's education system 'get stuck in Iraq.'"

Lest we forget how Kerry libeled and slandered our Armed Forces during the Vietnam War and probably got thousands of men killed through his encouragement of the enemy:
