MoveOn.org smears General Petraeus. Roll Call Votes on Support of Petraeus

How MoveOn.org's 2006 candidates voted on standing behind General Petraeus

  • Sherrod Brown for U.S. Senate (OH): Voted to stand with MoveOn.org in smearing General Petraeus. When he's bought, he stays bought.
  • Francine Busby for U.S. Congress (CA-50): Was not elected, because the voters saw her for the political prostitute she was
  • Robert Byrd for U.S. Senate (WV): The Ku Klux Klansman voted to stand with MoveOn.org in smearing General Petraeus. Maybe Byrd objected to seeing Petraeus with African-American service personnel, noting that Byrd once vowed he would never serve in the Armed Forces "with a Negro by my side."
  • Bob Casey for U.S. Senate (PA): Voted to stand with General Petraeus against MoveOn.org, even though this will doubtlessly cost him MoveOn's support.
  • Diane Farrell for U.S. Congress (CT-04): Was not elected, because the voters saw her for the political prostitute she was
  • Ned Lamont (D-CT): Lost the election to "Jew Lieberman" as MoveOn.org calls him
  • Nick Lampson for U.S. Congress (TX-22): Voted to stand with General Petraeus against MoveOn.org, even though this will doubtlessly cost him MoveOn's support.
  • Patrick Murphy for U.S. Congress (PA-08): Voted to stand with General Petraeus against MoveOn.org, even though this will doubtlessly cost him MoveOn's support.
  • Bill Nelson for U.S. Senate (FL):  Voted to stand with General Petraeus against MoveOn.org, even though this will doubtlessly cost him MoveOn's support.
Therefore, four out of MoveOn's six elected members of Congress turned against MoveOn.org to do the right thing.

How the Senate voted on standing behind General Petraeus

Vote Number: 344 Vote Date: September 20, 2007, 12:36 PM

To express the sense of the Senate that General David H. Petraeus, Commanding General, Multi-National Force-Iraq, deserves the full support of the Senate and strongly condemn personal attacks on the honor and integrity of General Petraeus and all members of the United States Armed Forces.
