Francine Busby for U.S. Congress (CA-50): Was not elected, because the voters saw her for the political prostitute she was
- Robert Byrd for U.S. Senate (WV): The Ku Klux
Klansman voted to stand with MoveOn.org in smearing General Petraeus.
Maybe Byrd objected to seeing Petraeus with African-American service
personnel, noting that Byrd once vowed he would never serve in the
Armed Forces "with a Negro by my side."
- Bob Casey for U.S. Senate (PA): Voted to stand with General Petraeus against MoveOn.org, even though this will doubtlessly cost him MoveOn's support.

WASHINGTON - The House on Wednesday overwhelmingly voted to condemn
the liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org for a recent advertisement
attacking the top U.S. general in Iraq.
By a 341-79 vote, the House passed a resolution praising the
patriotism of Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of U.S. forces in
Iraq, and condemning a MoveOn.org ad that referred to Petraeus as
“General Betray Us.”
