[Regarding the latter, the Million Mom March knowingly and willfully lied to its marchers, sponsors, and media contacts about "12 children a day" being killed by gun misuse.]

November 6, 2003. Rosie O'Donnell mocks breast cancer survivor. Rosie O'Donnell also said her own mother got breast cancer for lying.

"You know what happens to people who lie. They get sick and they get cancer," cancer survivor Cindy Spengler quoted O'Donnell as telling her. "If they keep lying, they get it again."

...Spengler said she replied to Rosie, "Your mother died of breast cancer. Was she lying?"

"Yes," O'Donnell replied. Spengler said Rosie's mom had lied about "a childhood incident."
