Handgun Control Incorporated & allies call NRA safety mascot Eddie Eagle "Joe Camel with Feathers," urge schools to keep him out of classrooms.

Eddie Eagle (R) says, "Stop! Don't Touch. Leave the Area. Tell an Adult." "With a firearm present in about half of all American households, all young children should learn that firearms are not toys. That's Eddie Eagle's fundamental, non-judgmental public safety message." (quoted from the NRA web site)
Well, HCI just has to keep that dirty bird from the NRA from spreading his subliminal pro-gun messages like "Stop! Don't Touch. Leave the area. Tell an adult." The Stentorian offers HCI a new safety mascot: the antigun Joe Camel with Dog Hair Freddy Beagle!
Here's Freddy Beagle's completely original advice, quoted from HCI's interactive game at http://www.handguncontrol.org/game.htm, for children who discover unattended firearms. HCI doesn't have to plagiarizecopysteal filch pilfer paraphrase from anybody, especially not that slimy, sneaky, sinister NRA mascot Eddie Eagle!
